Eagle USA Air Freight is incompetent
I had a delivery of a Sony Bravia scheduled for today by Eagle. I live in a gated community and had called the guard to let Eagle in when they arrived. Guess what? Eagle went to one of the two other gates which require an RFID tag on the vehicle for entry. So now I have to wait until Tuesday, Jan. 15 for delivery. These people are delivery personnel and they don’t know their way around the Tucson area (the manager in the office even admitted to this fact)! This is a poor excuse of a delivery service.

As a result I will not order anything from Amazon that requires freight delivery and recommendSony Bravia KDL-40V3000 40″ 1080p LCD HDTV that other people do also.

Excellent purchase
I received the TV yesterday and have been nothing but impressed with it. There is a SLIGHT (1/8″ maybe) bow in the top middle. Really only noticeable on the menu of my PVR although once I fixed the underscan, it is pretty much undetectable. Eagle shipping did an OK job. Amazon said it was supposed to arrive on Friday and it was delivered on Tuesday. Though, when the TV landing at the hub I called to schedule a delivery time. They said they would be in the area between 10 and 2. I had an exam at 1 so I said if they could get it here by 1, that would be fine. The gentleman made a note. 12:14 came around and he wasn’t here yet (I think they thought I meant I would be there AFTER 1). Luckily my roommate was home to receive the delivery but still.

TV is awesome and delivery was great!
I’ll be quick…Ordered this TV on the 3rd of Jan and it was delivered on the 9th. (5 days ahead of schedule) CEVA Logistics (aka Eagle) was great. I learned from another reviewer to track the package and call the local CEVA depot once you see it arrive, because Amazon doesn’t always forward the contact number. Well… my info wasn’t forwarded either, but I called and the woman at CEVA was very nice and scheduled my delivery. I was nervous buying a big ticket item online, but it went smooth, $600 cheaper than “Jerk it City” online and no sales tax!
TV has a great picture and with the LED’s…no $250 lamp to replace every 2 or 3 years. Standard DVD’s look amazing! Can’t wait to get a Blue Ray!
