Practically drowning in herbs!!
I got this as a birthday gift a little over a month ago,
and it is great!
The first few weeks it was just fun to watch the plants sprout and grow,
but for the past week or two we have absolutely been drowning in wonderful fresh herbs.

I use the mint every day in my tea, and have used the basil, parsley and thyme (I got that instead of coriander, which as far as I’m concerned is all for the best) several times in cooking.

The plants re-grow really fast, so that even after I’ve used them in cooking, within a day or two I already had some more leaves to work with. In fact, they almost grow too fast. I sometimes harvest a few stalks even when I’m not planning to use them, just to keep the plants healthy and growing.

The only pod of the bunch that is not yet ready to use is the one with chives, but it is growing nicely so I think it’s just a matter of time.

The one thing buyers should know is that when it says it has light 17 hours a day, it means it! We are talking about a strong light that is on for a long time. It can be set to turn on and off at times which suit you, but that still means it is on a large part of the time. So this thing only works if you can put it somewhere which is seperate from where you sleep, for example if there’s a door to your bedroom. I’m not sure I would stand having it in a studio apartment or something like that.

But overall, this is a great product. Lots of fun!

This was a gift and the recipient is very excited about the product. The box came packaged inside an outer box which protected it nicely, and it came in reasonable time frame.
